These are the Dept. Heads for each department looking for volunteers in 2017! Each department listed is open for general application and look forward to seeing what we do in 2017.
Li Rei is our main Volunteer Coordinator. She began attending OMG in 2007, and started volunteering in 2010. This department oversees the volunteers for all other departments. Our Volunteer coordinators work hard! If you have general questions, this is the department to ask!
Jordan Vohel began running the Artist Alley in 2015, and in 2017 began running both the Vendor and Artists rooms! This department ensures our attendees have a variety of goods to choose from, as well as keeping our SWAG Booth SWAG-tastic. Volunteers here will be working the SWAG booth, and keeping an eye out for bootleg materials!
Elijah heads our Table Top department with D20 Diligence. This room has hundreds of games to choose from, and looks for volunteers with the knowledge and excitement to run games and keep the table top room on point like the glaves of their DnD characters.
Brandy Samples heads up our Live Action Role Play department! You may have seen these guys waging a foam-padded war on the front lawn, or running RPG's in the Game Room. This department spends a lot of time outdoors, and spends a good portion of their time on their feet! Stay hydrated!
From Running video game tournaments to an impressive game check-out system, our Video Game Staff is on another level of organization!
Cole Keeling is one of our awesome Cosplay staff members! She's been around OMG!con for a long time, but you may not always recognize her! Volunteers for the cosplay department will help with our Cosplay Repair booth, the Peace Tie booth, or with the cosplay contest itself!
Geneva Ged is the master wizard behind OMG!con programming. However, all good wizards have help, and this department uses a lot of help! This is a good department for someone just starting to volunteer, as this department handles badge checking, door watching, gophering, and other misc. forms of assistance! Honestly, its one of our most important jobs!
Casey started helping out with OMG!con 2 years ago, and is our awesome Registration staff! This department needs its help with getting our attendees registered at con, and working as the knowledge of OMG! Volunteers here will be one of the first faces attendees see!
John Gallagher leads our public safety team. This department helps make sure that OMG!con is running smoothly. This department is the most busy during our Main Events, especially the OMG!Dance Party, and is on their feet a lot!
