OMG!con started in Paducah, Kentucky in 2006.

Originally geared towards anime and video games, the con has expanded to include general pop culture.  Our video game room includes retro and current consoles, arcade cabinets, a tournament stage, and indie game developers. Our exhibitor's hall takes over half of the 1st floor with 70+ artists and vendors including our swag and charity raffle area. We have boffer larp out on the front lawn, viewing rooms and a manga library to relax in between the 200+ panels, large tabletop room for board games and TCG tournaments, a dedicated chibi room for the littlest nerds, cosplay contest, dance party, a formal ball, and so much more!!!

As a non-profit fandom convention run by a volunteer base, our goal has always been inclusivity and affordability.
We want to create a safe space that brings the community together to celebrate shared interests and live authentically.


Ways we try to keep costs affordable:
* Pre-registration discount tiers
* Giveaways at other events
* Volunteer opportunities for a free badge
(They are also provided food, swag, raffle prizes, and awards!)
* 1 free autograph during autograph sessions
* For exhibitors we consider exhibitor to attendee ratio, variety of products, and feedback about sales to help reduce cost all around and support artists and vendors for their fun goods.
